Before they search your name on Google, more and more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity about you. Google now also shows AI-written summaries above its results. What those answers say can shape a first impression, and it may not match the page you would like people to see.
What AI Assistants Say About You
AI tools summarise what is already published and indexed about a person or business: news coverage, review sites, forum threads, directories and company pages. If the strongest material online is old, thin, or dominated by one negative story, an AI summary is likely to repeat it, often in a confident tone and without showing the reader how weak or dated the source is.
Where the Answers Come From
Each tool works differently. Some draw on live web results, some rely mostly on information they learned in training, and Google’s AI Overviews lean on pages that already rank. Broadly, tools tend to favour sources that are recent, clearly written and backed up by other sources, and they can give different answers to the same question on different days. That is why we check several tools more than once rather than relying on a single result.
What We Do
- AI reputation audit. We ask the same set of questions about you or your brand in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and record what each one says.
- Source tracing. We work out which pages the answers appear to draw on, and which of them are inaccurate, outdated or unfairly prominent.
- Fixing the sources. Where a page is inaccurate or breaks a platform’s rules, we assess whether it can be corrected or removed. See our content removal service.
- Building accurate, current material. We help you publish clear, factual and consistent information about who you are, so there is more reliable material for these tools to draw on. This works alongside search suppression.
- Monitoring. AI answers change, so we re-check on a schedule and tell you when something shifts. See reputation monitoring.
What We Can’t Do
We cannot edit what an AI tool says, instruct it to forget something, or guarantee a particular answer. The tools are run by third parties, their answers vary, and they change with updates. What we can do is improve the information they have to work with and keep track of the result. Anyone who promises control over an AI answer is overpromising.
Who This Is For
- Founders, executives and professionals whose name returns an old or one-sided story
- Businesses whose reviews or news coverage are being summarised unfairly
- Doctors, lawyers and other professionals whose clients research them before booking
- Anyone who has searched their own name in an AI assistant and didn’t like the answer
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make ChatGPT stop mentioning something about me?
No. We can’t control what an AI tool says. We can work on the pages and sources it draws from, and on publishing accurate material, so the picture it gives is fairer over time.
How long does it take to see a change?
It varies by tool and by what is driving the answer. Fixing or replacing a source can take weeks to months, and AI answers may take longer to reflect it. We explain what is realistic after the free audit.
Is this different from normal reputation management?
It builds on it. The same pages that appear in Google often feed AI answers, so the work overlaps. The difference is that we also check what the AI tools say, and track it over time.
Do you guarantee a specific result?
No. We never promise a particular answer from an AI tool, or that a page will be removed.
